I had the privilege of being at Viswajyothi for five years, a place that continues to fill me with joy whenever I look back. I was fortunate to have teachers who not only embraced my curiosity but also knew exactly when to nurture it and when to guide me with discipline. Their focus went far beyond helping me achieve good grades; they made learning an enjoyable experience. Even as a student, I was in awe of their dedication, and that admiration remains with me to this day. Above all, this is what makes Viswajyothi truly special. Immediately after my under graduation in Economics and Political Science from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, I went on to work with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. Here I implemented the Ministry’s schemes for scheduled castes, transgenders and senior citizens. Drawing on this experience, I have now been offered admissions at the University of Oxford and Harvard University to study the Master of Public Policy with scholarship. I truly owe this achievement to my teachers at Viswajyothi who believed in me and consistently pushed me to think beyond my own selfish interests.
