ACADEMIA – MLA’s Award – 2023 :-

Our school won the ACADEMIA – MLA’s Award – 2023, for the top schools with 100% success in the Board Exams of Classes X & XII. Ms. Jayasree K received the award from Mr. Roji M John, MLA, Angamaly.

The school is proud of getting the British Council (ISD) Award for three consecutive terms 2014-2017, 2017-2020 & 2020-23, a prestigious accreditation to outstanding schools that support nurturing global citizenship in young people and enrich teaching and learning.

The school is a member of the Global Schools, an initiative led by the UN, aiming at a global dimension and holistic perspective in education.

SCHOLASTIC

CLASS X

In the SSE Class X Board Exam2023, 185 students appeared and there was 100% pass. DIYA NOBY is the topper with 98.2% marks. There were 149 Distinctions and 36 high first divisions. 3 students scored 100 in Malayalam and 7 students scored 100 in Social Science. 17 students got A1 in all subjects.

CLASS XII

In the SSCE Class XII Board Exam2023, 134 students appeared and there was 100% pass. ABHIYA K JOHNSON (COMMERCE STREAM) is the topper with 98.6% marks. ELITA ANN BINU is the Science stream topper with 97.2% marks. ANGEL MARIA ANTONY and ANN SITHARA JIMMY are the Humanities Stream toppers with 96.8%marks. There were 120 Distinctions and 14 high first divisions. 7 students scored 100 in different subjects. 23 students got A1 in all subjects

COCURRICULAR (CULTURAL)

  • Kochi Metro Sahodaya conducted its first cultural festival at Sree Sarada Vidyalaya and our team of 97 students participated and won the Second Runners Up Trophy.
  •  In Viswa Fest – 2022, the mega school art festival which provided every student a platform to showcase their talents, almost all the students proved their mettle in on-stage and off-stage items.
  • In the CBSE State Kalotsav-2022, conducted at Carmel Public School, Vazhakkulam, 29 students participated. Two students got first Prize, one second prize and 27 students got A Grade.

COCURRICULAR(SPORTS)

  • SWIMMING
    The swimming team proved their wonderful swimming spirit in the District/State/National levels and in all categories they participated.
  • Our team won the National Championship in the C.B.S.E. National swimming Championship 2023 held at Rajkot, Gujarat. The team won 18 gold,23 silver and 6 bronze medals, scoring 146 points. Our team of 30 competed with 1300 students coming from 73 schools all over India and also CBSE schools from Dubai, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and UAE. 24 out of 30 students won medals.
  • In the 14th Ekm Dt Swimming Championship at MTMHSS, Pampakkuda, our students won 18 Gold, 12 Silver and 7 Bronze medals. We were Women’s section Champions and Overall, Runners up. Joseph V Jose & Caren Benny became the Individual Champions.
  • In the 20th Ekm Dt Junior And Sub Junior Swimming Championship held at MA College, Kothamangalam, Joseph V Jose, Caren Benny & David John Jijo were the Individual Champions. We got 27 Gold, 39 Silver and 33 Bronze. We were Sub Junior Champions and Overall, Runners Up.
  • In the Mar Athanasius Championship (Swimming) held at M A College, Kothamangalam on 19th November, 25 students represented from our school. We got 26 Gold, 8 Silver and 12 Bronze medals. We became Overall Champions and won Rs. 10000 cash prize.
  • In the 48th Junior and 38th Sub-Junior Kerala State Swimming Championship held at Thiruvananthapuram, we got 21 gold,12 silver & 9 bronze medals. Nicole Poly became the Individual Champion.
  • In the 69th Kerala State Senior Aquatic Championship held at Thiruvananthapuram on 22nd and 23rd August 2022, 9 students represented from our school. We got 11 Gold, 8 Silver and 7 Bronze medals. Caren Benny became the Individual Champion.
  • In the 1st District Kerala Games (Swimming)2022, we got 7 Gold, 8 Silver and 5 Bronze Medals. We were Overall Runners Up.
  • In the 1st Kerala Games held at Thiruvananthapuram, we got 5 Gold, 13 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals. Joseph V Jose became the Fastest Man Swimmer of the championship.
  • Six members of our team Caren Benny, Joseph V Jose, Gayathri Dev, Nicole Poly, Iris Manoj and Russel John Jude, represented Kerala state in the 48th Junior National Aquatic Championship 2022 held in Odisha.
  •  In the 75th Senior National Aquatic Championship 2022 held at Guwahati, Assam, 4 students, Joseph V Jose, Iris Manoj, Caren Benny & Nicole Poly participated from our school.
  • We were Overall Champions in the Visio Aqua Meet 2022 at Chavara Darsan Public School, Koonammavu. Caren Benny, Nicole Poly, & Gayathri Dev were Individual Champions.
  • Caren Benny [VIII C] and Gayatry Dev [IX D] participated in the 36th National Games for swimming at Gujarat.
  • In the CBSE South Zone Swimming Championship held at National Public School, Banglore, we had a delightful victory. We are Overall Champions, Champions in Boys’ category and Girls’ category scoring 11 gold, 19 silver and 19 bronze medals.
