Viswajyothi follows the CBSE curriculum and provides ample scope for the holistic development of students. The curriculum is planned to emphasize the application of knowledge and skills, encouraging values-based learning activities.
Apart from the prescribed syllabi and classroom learning, the curriculum promotes 21st-century skills, art-integrated joyful learning, physical education, digital literacy, health and wellness, sports and swimming, multilingualism, road safety, and many other activities to enhance the competency of every child.
Viswajyothi encourages students to speak only English on campus since English is the global language. However, other languages are also given equal importance as a mark of respect for our cultural heritage and national integration.
The National Education Policy 2020 has introduced changes in the assessment system, which are implemented in the school. Grades I to V have competency-based formative assessments marked on the Holistic Progress Card (a 360-degree, multi-dimensional report reflecting the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains). Grades VI to VIII, IX, and XI have two periodic assessments, half-yearly and annual exams, and Grades X and XII have CBSE Board Exams. The curriculum supports technological innovations (ICT integration) to keep pace with global trends in various disciplines.
